In the last 20 years, flexible packaging has revolutionised the market by providing an alternative to rigid containers.
With expertise in large volumes (products ranging from one litre to one cubic metre), we work closely with our customers from the start of their projects in order to propose innovative and industrially viable solutions. Moreover, our production equipment has been developed in-house, giving us increased flexibility and permitting the integration of dedicated, customised tools.
In recent years, we have developed some innovative solutions not only for packaging but especially for protecting liquids. Hence, these designs have been used by our customers in a wide range of sectors, from dyes and beer to detergents and veterinary products. Our pouches can also be used either standalone or integrated into product distribution systems.
Bernhardt focusses on its core skills as a developer and custom manufacturer, and is backed up by an extensive network of suppliers throughout Europe for the design and development of new films and connectors to meet the needs expressed by users. For example, we are working on reducing the thicknesses of our packing films in order to generate less waste, and on the use of innovative barrier layers as an alternative to aluminium foil.
